The Vawdrey House is a multi-award-winning firm which brings together architecture and interior design to create beautiful spaces with stunning creative flair. Little Greene paint colours are used in many of their projects, offering the perfect balance of classic and contemporary style.
Jennifer Hamilton, Director at The Vawdrey House, writes: “Many of the homes that we work on are renovations of Victorian and Edwardian homes. We like to blend heritage architectural features with contemporary extensions and interiors. Little Greene's carefully considered tonal colour palettes allow us to add pops of vibrancy to warm, elegant colours that work well in both heritage and modern homes.”

For their Park House project, The Vawdrey House aimed to create a relaxed, cosmopolitan feel in this London retreat. They reflect the client’s eclectic taste by evoking chic Parisian bistro and New York loft styles alongside classic Victorian townhouse architecture.
The spacious home is flooded with light, meaning it works beautifully with a green-based colour palette, creating a sense of connection with nature. In the kitchen, the soft, green-toned white, Pendula, complements the earthy bright green, Garden, on cabinetry. The living space is painted in Normandy Grey for a soft, tranquil atmosphere that balances the deep blue, Basalt, on the staircase. In the adjacent coach house, Pendula pairs with the pale green, Ulla, for a light, spacious and airy feel.
